I participated in the development and initial offerings of this Academy through Del Mar College (2011-2014). The Academy has since been eliminated. This link refers to Birdseyeview GIS by Kurt Menke, which mentions the program in a blog post (August, 22, 2014). He was also an original author on the content and continues to promote and use Open Source GIS in his work.
