Add a Web GIS Layer to a Map Tab

An important aspect of working with Pro and finding and using data on the web that is not managed by your organization is working with Web GIS Layers in Pro or with AGOL or Portal. Finding and using data from the web is “the” common method to use map data. Long-gone are the days of doing a “Search” on the Internet through a web browser to find specific GIS layers or “clearing houses” of map layers. Search the “ESRI Cloud” (aka ArcGIS Online- AGOL) can be done within Pro, AGOL, or Portal.

This video shows the method to search AGOL when working in Pro and adding a Web GIS layer to a Map tab. See other pages in the ArcGIS Online how to for searching AGOL when working with Web Maps within ArcGIS Online.
