A common element to add to a map layout is a legend. Many other elements can be added, such as a Title, title block showing when and who created the map, north arrow, scale bar, etc. Since a legend often needs some additional configuration, this video shows some options to style the legend. Many other options do exist, so those new to ArcGIS Pro are encouraged to spend more time configuring the legend.
This video also shows how to export the map to a PDF. The “print” option is buried inside of the Share ribbon. The Export to PDF as well as publishing map layers to ArcGIS Online or Portal can also be found in the Share ribbon.
