The time slider widget provides the ability to show an animated data set based on a date/time frame to show how data can change across a geography at different intervals. This tool is easy to configure, but the end user may have difficulty using and understanding what the widget actually does and what they actually experience on the map.
Use this tool for very specific data that has good reason to show/animate over a given time frame.
